If you plan on staying in the same location for years, then future changes in family size and needs is of major importance. A home that was once fine for small children, can seem very crowded once they’ve became teenagers!

The exterior design of the home is very important, but the living space is what really makes the home! The size of your rooms needs to meet the usage requirements that you have.

If you entertain guests often, then a larger dining room may be needed. And, if your family spends a lot of time in the living room, it’s better to have extra space than not enough!

You will also want to think about the houses position on the property. The position of the home with such things as property lines or wooded areas may prevent the addition of other rooms later on.
